The annual fall/winter Ingeokring symposium will this year take place on Friday, December 17 2010. The theme of the symposium will be Mining and Dredging – Innovations in Geo-Engineering Practice.

15:25: Deep sea mining and other innovations in dredging (ir. Johan Pennekamp, Deltares)

15:50: The use of the parametric echosounder in the Middle East and South East Asia: a successful venture (drs. Thijs Oomen, Van Oord nv)

16:15: Marine diamond mining using ROV technology (ir. Lennart van Baalen, Visser & Smit Hanab)

16:40: On-shore mining: excavation and haulage in lignite mines (dr.ir. Robrecht Schmitz, RWE)
