2016 Ingeokring Autumn Symposium on Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering
On Friday 18 November 2016, the annual Ingeokring Autumn Symposium will take place in Delft, The Netherlands. This year, the symposium will be dedicated to the subject of Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering. Following on from previous years, the event is organised at the Delft University of Technology.

Ingeokring Symposium 2015 Friday 13 November 2015
The well-known IngeoKring Autumn Symposium takes this time place on Friday the 13th of November (2015). This yearly event starts in the afternoon at 13:45 hours and end at 16.45 hours. Again it is succeeded to book the famous and beautiful former Royal Arm Museum in Delft (Korte Geer 1) for this special occasion. A number of invited speakers discuss the local geology and the geotechnical challenges they encountered in their projects in and around the old city of Delft.

Ingeokring Eifel workshop/excursion 20-21 March 2015
On March 21st and 22nd 2015 our second field excursion/workshop will take place in the Eifel. This activity has also an learning/professional development component and will be held near the city of Heimbach-Eifel, village Hausen, which is at approx. 3 hours’ drive from Delft. It is organized for the first time together with the Belgisch Luxemburgse Unie van Geologen/Union Belgo-Luxembourgeoise de Geologues (BLUG/UBLG).

Succesfull Ingeokring Symposium 2014
On 14 November 2014, the Ingeokring Autumn Symposium took place at a great location: the former Royal Arm Museum in Delft. Over 70 Ingeokring members and friends of the Ingeokring joined the event. Four (4) speakers shared their expertise with the audience about Engineering Geology in Glacial Soils.

Engineering-Geologists certified?
The board of the Ingeokring established a working-group to provide recommendations on the possible certification of engineers working in the field of the Engineering-Geology. Questions like: ‘is some sort of certification required and, if yes, how should such a system best be implemented and operated’ are studied in the coming months. Recommendations are expected by the end of 2014.
